Spruch des Tages

Furcht ist nicht in der Liebe, sondern die völlige Liebe treibt die Furcht aus; denn die Furcht hat Pein. Wer sich aber fürchtet, der ist nicht völlig in der Liebe.
(1 Johannes 4:18)

I am Roma!

I have been working for ten years as a volunteer in YMCA Lutsk, Ukraine! I participate in TenSing program, social work, healthy lifestyle program, HIV prevention program, Global education etc. I have been also working as a camp counselor for 3 years! And this summer before I came here I was working in boarding school together with two volunteers: Olga Mlynarska and Joey Raso from Canada. Three years ago I started and developed a new program in YMCA Ukraine: Floorball. And this year we won the Championship of Western Ukraine! I organized three teams for what I am really thankful to Swedish leaders, especially Tamuz Hidir! And I want to express my gratitude to Ivanna Gorbachuk - president of our local YMCA; she helps every man to be a person, to Yulia Kelemen – leader of TenSing team, to Marta Guretska – international coordinator, because all these people change the world in a better way.

I am really thankful to EVS program, because it gave me this opportunity to come here to get new experience and to share Mein!

I am already two months here! At the beginning it was a little bit challenging for me to adapt to a new life. But I have met a lot of nice people here, who helped me to deal with that! I have got a regular schedule that really good for my time management and I really appreciate this in my small working community!

I work in “School Club” and it really helps me to get new experience speaking with lot of young people. One can say that we can get positive energy from other nice people and I get this energy working hand in hand with all sincere and openhearted colleagues and children! I am also included in work with youth group that goes every Wednesday and there are very nice children. Every time we get new theme to think and talk about and many different interesting activities. The work in youth café is full of positive and nice emotions. My German is not very good but I am trying to communicate a lot with children and it is really helpful more over I attend German courses!

I want to express my gratitude to all with whom I work. Thank you for your support and understanding!
